Who is Amaury Guichon?

For those unfamiliar with Amaury Guichon, his journey to becoming a world-renowned chocolatier is as impressive as his creations. Born on March 15, 1991, in Cannes, France, to a Swiss mother and a French father, Guichon was raised near the border of Haute-Savoie and Romandy, close to Geneva.

His passion for pastry began early; at the age of 14, he enrolled at the École Hôtelière Savoie Leman in Thonon-les-Bains to start his pastry training. He further honed his skills during an apprenticeship at Maison Lenôtre in Paris, a highly respected institution in the culinary world.

Guichon's talent was quickly recognized, and in 2010, at just 19 years old, he was awarded the title of the best apprentice in France, an accolade that marked the beginning of his illustrious career. Over the years, he continued to build his reputation, making television appearances in his native France and working at one of the world’s most prestigious pastry shops in Las Vegas.

In 2016, Guichon began sharing his incredible chocolate sculptures on social media, where his unique blend of artistry and confectionery skills rapidly gained a global following. His creations, often inspired by real-world objects and famous brands, have become a sensation, with each new piece further cementing his status as a master chocolatier.
