The Jeddah Corniche circuit in Saudi Arabia debuted in the 2021 season, and since then, it has become the fastest racetrack in Formula 1, with a minimum speed of 250 KMPH. The track is a street circuit, so the roads are narrow with many sharp turns. High-speed blind corners are always dangerous, and over the last 4 years of its journey in Formula 1, there have been many race incidents. One of the biggest incidents was Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton’s collision in 2021.

5. Restart Mayhem

During the race restart of the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Haas F1 driver Nikita Mazepin rammed into the car in front, igniting a chain reaction. This ended Sergio Perez's and Sebastian Vettel’s race that year. This was also the last season of Nikita Mazepin at Haas, as the Russia-Ukraine war ended his F1 career.

4. Mick Schumacher's blind crash

The F1 legend's son was driving the Haas car, and he was doing the qualifying at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Haas F1 had full hope with Mick Schumacher, as his teammate Nikita Mazepin was too slow and was not performing well. Mick was coming fast, and in one of those exits, he brushed the kerbs, which were already slippery in the night. His car made a huge impact on the wall, breaking it into pieces. The F1 safety regulations are the only reason Schumacher came out alive.

3. The crash ends the lap of the century

Everyone knows the 2021 F1 season is the best season in more than a decade. The competition between Red Bull and Mercedes is fierce as the two brands battle for the ultimate title. In the Saudi Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton had already set the fastest lap of the session and was waiting for Max Verstappen’s results. The Dutchman was all out in Jeddah with the fastest purple sectors in every corner. He was pushing too hard, and at one corner, his car brushed the barriers, and in frustration, Verstappen himself crashed his car. The crash ended the lap of the century that year.

2. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen collide

In 2021, Saudi Arabian GP Max and Lewis were battling for the pole position. Verstappen overtook Lewis in one of those corners, exceeding the track limits. He was asked to give the position back to Hamilton, and in doing so, he collided with Lewis Hamilton, who hit his rear and both the cars were damaged to some level. Lewis Hamilton ended up winning the race for Mercedes.

1. Lance Stroll dives into the wall

Last year, Lance Stroll drove his Aston Martin straight into the wall, bringing the red flags. A Canadian driver was approaching a high-speed blind corner, and there his car kissed the wall, which made him lose control of his car, and he dived into the wall and had a massive impact.
