Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel did an ultimate stunt of steering the car with his legs at the 2025 Race of Champions opening ceremony in Sydney, Australia. Vettel is one of the legends of the sport and has now retired. The German driver has won four titles in his F1 career. Before Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel was the only Red Bull driver to win a world title. Now, he is enjoying his retirement with his family and kids.

He occasionally does racing but is working on social and environmental activities like climate awareness, Human rights, Environmental pollution control, LGBTQ+ support and many more. Last year, during the Brazilian Grand prix, Vettel collected plastics from the city of Sao Paulo and built a huge Senna Helmet in memory of the legend and to create awareness among the people about plastic waste.

He also invited Formula 1 drivers like Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, and Charles Leclerc to support his cause, and every driver arrived to support the former world champion. Vettel is also linked with the Audi F1 team as a driver in the 2026 season. This year, he was seen at the Race of Champions, the first time in the southern hemisphere. Sydney hosted the iconic event at the Accor stadium. The event happens in two stages; one is the ROC Nations Cup, which is Country vs Country. Then, the second day will be the Race of Champions, an Individual competition among the drivers.

Drivers from Formula 1, NASCAR, and World Rally are present for the event. On the first day of the ROC Nations Cup, each driver was paired with their fellow compatriots. Sebastian Vettel partnered with Mick Schumacher, another Formula 1 driver and son of 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher. The event happened just before the 2025 Australian Grand Prix.

Before the start of the event, the driver rally happened, and Sebastian Vettel drove his car just by using his legs. It was a circular race track, so Vettel was controlling his car with his leg while waving hands to the fans with Mick Schumacher. This is an ultimate and insane stunt by Vettel as he keeps one eye on the track and the other eye on the fans. His muscle memory helps him to control the car even with his legs. We will see more of Vettel during this year's Formula 1 season as an ambassador of the sport.
