Just a day before the Met Gala event, American supermodel Kendall Jenner had a chance to go on hot laps with Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton at the Miami Grand Prix. On the tight curves of the Miami track, Jenner was left terrified by Hamilton's speed.
In a video shared by the Mercedes team on social media platforms, Jenner can be seen going on a journey full of terrific experiences. Her reaction went viral on social media and left fans comparing it with NBA superstar Jimmy Buttler.
Here is the video:
When Hamilton started the car, he asked Jenner if she was ready. Jenner hesitantly admitted, "Well, I suppose... Oh gosh, I'm absolutely terrified.” The situation didn't improve as Hamilton skillfully navigated the car through the corners and along the narrow streets of the Miami circuit. “Holy f***! Lewis. Holy sh*t. I can’t believe this is what you do all the time”, she screamed.
“We have Met Gala, please stop”, says Jenner
Further in the final corners, Lewis Hamilton tried to irritate Jenner with another lap. “Oh my god Lewis! I hate you,” she said. “Oh my god, I’m gonna cry. This is insane. Okay, I get it, you’re really good. We have the Met Gala on Monday! I feel so much better now that it’s over”, Jenner further added.
Though Jenner was visibly frightened, her response seemed mild compared to NBA sensation Jimmy Butler's reaction. Riding shotgun next to McLaren's Lando Norris at the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix, the Miami Heat guard despised every second of his hot lap.
Butler wasted no time in urging Norris to ease off the accelerator, peppering his journey with a steady stream of curses directed at the F1 driver. Butler won't be volunteering for a repeat performance as a passenger alongside any F1 star shortly.
