Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz and Moto GP Legend Marc Marquez hail from Spain. The European country is known for producing great racing drivers over the years. There are also many world champions from Spain like Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz Sr., Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez.

But Spain is also a football-loving nation, and their main sport is always Football. They also love the club teams, and the nation itself is split into two due to football teams. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the biggest football clubs in Spain.

People who are from Madrid will support the Madrid-based Real Madrid team. And the people from Catalunya always give their support to Barcelona. Whenever the teams clash in a football game, it is called as an El Clásico. The 2025 Copa del Rey finals will happen between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

The official sponsor of the event, Estrella Galicia, has brought Marc Marquez and Carlos Sainz to a phone conversation regarding their support in the El Clásico match. Carlos is a Real Madrid supporter while Marc Marquez is loyal to FC Barcelona. 

The two racers fought each other during the conversation, and both gave their loyalty to their favourite clubs. Marquez said, “If you don't want to suffer, don't watch the game.” In reply, F1 driver Carlos sainz said, “Real never loses finals.”

At the end of the phone conversation, both of them agreed to buy a beer if their team loses the game. The two clubs are always rivals, as are their fans. The rivalry was at its peak when Messi and Ronaldo were playing for Barcelona and Real Madrid. 

Every time the two teams meet, it will be like a clash of the titans. Now, Messi and Ronaldo both are gone from the club and are out of european football. Lionel Messi is now an Inter Miami player, and Ronaldo is playing for the Saudi Arabian club of AL Nassr FC.
