WATCH: MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin interrupts Atletico Madrid match with his bike

Martin and Bagnaia were the biggest rivals in MotoGP in the 2023 and 2024 Seasons. The Spanish rider was the first independent world champion in the Modern era.

The newly crowned MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin is enjoying his vacation by celebrating his first title with the fans. Recently, he was spotted interrupting a Football match played by Atletico Madrid. The Spanish MotoGP rider was a big fan of the Atletico Madrid team and hailed from Madrid.

He recently beat two-time MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia in the final race of the 2024 MotoGP season, held in Barcelona, Spain. With consistency and composure, Martin was the best rider of this year's MotoGP season. 

He is also the modern era's first independent world champion after Valentino Rossi. Martin won the championship for the Prima Prramac Racing team a satellite team of Ducati. With the GP 24 model bike, he defeated another GP 24 factory Ducati bike which was a little faster than his bike. 

After winning the world championship, ‘The Martinator’ had many wild celebrations like breaking his bike visor, door, champagne bottle and many other things. The Former champion Bagnaia was also standing near him and he burst into laughter seeing Martin's celebrations.

Martin joined the Aprilia Factory Racing team next year and will have race number 1 in his new team. As the season is over all the riders are in vacation mode and spending valuable time with their family. The world champion is on a sprint tour to celebrate his win.

'The Martinator' supports Atletico Madrid

The Spaniard took his Ducati bike into the Atletoic Madrid match and did some revs to charm the fans in the stands. Everyone was very excited to see the world champion and they cheered him. He then took his MotoGP world championship and marched around the arena.

Bagnaia and Martin battled for the title last year where the Spaniard lost his championship by some small margin. This time the title fight was very close between him and Bagnaia. The Malaysian Grand prix sprint race has cost the Italian rider his third MotoGP title.
