There have been many talented and great drivers in Formula One who have given us some memorable moments every season they have featured in. The driver who has been leading the charts is none other than Red Bull's Max Verstappen with 7 wins and 255 points this season. This seems like another year where the Dutch is dominating the competition yet again.
Max Verstappen has been in the form of his life where he has been Red Bull's number-one driver for years. In fact, he has been the World Champion in the last three seasons and is looking good to get his 4th consecutive World Championship as well. He is currently the biggest superstar in autosports who is making waves and there seems to be no stopping him at all. The 26-year-old has already broken multiple records and already has been termed as one of the current greats of Formula One.
Verstappen crash story goes viral
There is no doubt that Verstappen is one of the big things in racing right now and has been giving some great moments for the Red Bull team. However, there have been some tragic races that have caused some problems. Back in 2021 in the Silverstone circuit, Verstappen had a devastating crash in an ongoing battle with Lewis Hamilton, this crash saw Verstappen swerve out of bounds and straight crash into the copse corner. Though it is great to see Verstappen get another podium finish this season, this crash might have been the reason that such a wonderful career would have ended.

Parce que c’est terrifiant, à la télé on se rendait pas vraiment compte de la puissance de l’impact..
Tu m’étonnes qu’il ai finit à l’hôpital miskine : pic.twitter.com/d8p7UHYgUd
Verstappen also opened up on this story saying " Since my Silverstone crash (2021), I've struggled with visibility problems, especially on undulating circuits or those with lots of advertising boards on the side. In this race (US 2021), I wasn't just fighting against Lewis, but also against blurred images". Though Verstappen went onto win this race due to vision problems he also revealed that he almost decided to retire. This has made the fans respect him even more as we are still seeing him on the track giving some great performances and has fought through his problems.
