Kush Mani stands tall, sings national anthem after proud win

Kush Maini is a promising young talent and is part of the Alpine Driver Academy. With this victory, he may be considered for the driver seat at the Alpine Formula 1 team alongside Pierre Gasly next year. This sprint victory of Kush Maini is a proud moment for the indian fans as the Indian National Anthem was played at the grandstands. It was a goosebumps moment for Maini as he was standing tall, singing the national anthem as a proud winner.

After winning the race, Maini quoted “P1, first indian to win in Monaco too. It’s a great honour and a dream come true. I want to say thank you to DAMS and everyone who has supported me. We keep believing!” Maini also admitted that his brakes weren't good enough throughout the race in the post-race briefing.

The indian driver also said, “Yeah, I think I was just doing my race really. I was struggling a bit with front locking, and one of my brakes fell asleep. So it was just not about going for the quickest lap this race, but about being consistent, and not making mistakes, and just controlling the race, which I feel we did. Obviously, Gabriele was very fast, and it was nice to keep him behind.”

The Monaco circuit is one of the oldest and most prestigious race tracks. Winning here is a great achievement for any racing driver. Kush Maini will be very proud of himself for making the Indian flag fly high in the Monte Carlo grandstands. In the main race, Kush Maini will start in P10, and we will see whether he can make history again in Monaco.
