Marc Marquez one of the most followed MotoGP riders in the world had a great 2024 season where he finished third behind world champion Jorge Martin and Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia. Marc Marquez achieved this by riding a one-year older GP23 bike which is underpowered compared with the GP24 machines that were used by Martin and Bagnaia.
The 6-time world champion even kept GP24 riders Enea Bastianini, and Franco Morbidelli behind him and finished the season on a high by finishing second in the final race of the season ahead of Jorge Martin. For all his efforts the Ducati Factory team gifted him with a seat for the 2025 season alongside Francesco Bagnaia. After the 2024 season was completed the MotoGP riders stayed on the Spanish circuit for the Pre-season testing session.

Jorge Martin the world champion moved to the Aprilia racing team and tested his 2025 Aprilia RS bike. Marc Marquez also moved from the Gresini Racing team to the Ducati Factory team replacing Enea Bastianini. The Gresini Racing team crew delivered Marc Marquez by lifting him and went straight to the Ducati's main garage and made him sit on Bastianini’s chair. Now, the Spaniard is testing the Red Ducati bike at the Barcelona circuit.

The Ducatis bikes are the most powerful in the MotoGP grid. Everyone is waiting for Marquez to test his first-ever Factory Ducati bike. Many fans were cheering the Spaniard's Ducati debut and he took the bike and went flying around the lap.
Next year it will be even tougher for Francesco Bagnaia as the 6-time world champion Marc Marquez will be his teammate and he will not leave the title for him very easily. Marquez will most likely fight for his 7th world title starting next season against Pecco and the reigning champion Jorge Martin who will be driving a black coloured Aprilia Factory bike. Other manufacturers like Aprilia, KTM, YAMAHA and Honda will also be looking to fight back against the dominating Ducati engines.
