WATCH: 2024 MotoGP Champion Jorge Martin Celebrates Wildly, Breaking Bike Visor and Destroying things

Jorge Martin was uncontrollable as he became the first-ever independent MotoGP world champion. Like a Terminator he started destroying things out of joy.

Jorge Martin is your new MotoGP world champion as he won his first-ever MotoGP world title by just 10 points ahead of Reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia. The Prima Pramac Racing team also became the first-ever independent team to win the MotoGP title in history.

This is a very special championship win for Jorge Martin as he has been trying since the 2019 season. This year's MotoGP season is the most thrilling ever in the last five years as the title fight went to the final race of the season. Francesco Bagnaia needed Martin to finish below 9th place to win his third title. But the Martinator was very much in control of his race and finished third and clinched his championship from the Italian. 

In this title fight, he was helped by Aprilia rider Aleix Espargaro who gave him towing during the qualifying and in the race he defended Martin against Bagnaia’s Ducati teammate Enea Bastianini. After winning the race Espargaro was dearly hugged and celebrated by Martin.

The Martinator went wild.

The biggest talking point of the championship-winning moment was his wild and emotional celebration. After finishing the final lap Jorge Martin broke the visor glass of his bike as part of his celebration. He then went to the Terminator room broke the door and came out as a real Terminator with a face mask.

He was given the champion helmet and he went straight to the podium ceremony. There he did some wild pushup dance on the floor. Then the Martinator become emotional seeing his team and his family. He kissed his girlfriend who was already in tears of joy. Then he cried with his father and mother who were standing outside the podium box. He was congratulated by his rival Francesco Bagnaia and both of them had a moment together.

After that ‘The Martinator’ went to the podium ceremony and celebrated by spraying Champagne dropping the bottle and shouting at the crowd standing below the podium box. The victory made the Spaniard uncontrollable as he started breaking things out of emotion and celebration. He will leave the Prima Pramac Racing team as a MotoGP champion and join the Aprilia Racing team next year just like MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi Exited Honda as a champion and joined the Yamaha team.
