Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton, who held the position in eighth place, and George Russell, who was in seventh, found themselves in a puzzling situation. Russell was over five seconds behind Sergio Perez, raising questions about Mercedes' strategy, particularly why they pitted him when they did.

Ultimately, Norris’ victory was the highlight of the day, with Max Verstappen, for the first time, failing to win his home Grand Prix, settling for second place. Charles Leclerc rounded out the podium, securing a strong third place for Ferrari. The rest of the top 10 featured Piastri, Sainz, Perez, Russell, Hamilton, Gasly, and Alonso, all contributing to an unforgettable Dutch Grand Prix.
