Wembanyama, 21, led his side to a decisive 140-110 victory over the Pacers in an incredible first game. He scored 30 points, pulled down 11 rebounds, provided six assists, and blocked five shots. After the first game, Ocon was spotted talking to Wembanyama, who was lovingly called Wemby. On the occasion, Ocon was joined by Teddy Riner, the judo champion.

This is the second year that Ocon has attended the NBA Games in Paris, a program designed to increase the league's global fan base. Usually, he is joined by other drivers Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc, but they weren't there this time. While Leclerc is also busy and will not be able to attend the annual charity football game in Monaco for Fight AIDS, Gasly is presently training with his squad for the 2025 season.
