Charles Leclerc, the Monegasque Formula 1 star, took some well-deserved downtime recently, enjoying a stroll in Monaco with his girlfriend, Alexandra, and their adorable puppy, Leo. With the Formula 1 season having some off time, Leclerc was seen making the most of the break, exploring Monaco’s scenic streets with his loved ones.

This tranquil outing comes during a period of intense speculation around Leclerc’s relationship with his Ferrari teammate, Carlos Sainz. While the two have been key figures for Ferrari this season, it’s their final one as teammates. Sainz is set to leave Ferrari at the end of the year, with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton joining the Italian team in 2025.
Ferrari remains determined to fight for the Constructors' Championship, and while tensions are common in high-stakes racing, recent rumors have suggested friction between Leclerc and Sainz. At the recent Brazilian Grand Prix, Sainz’s frustrations were evident after he crashed out, while Leclerc managed a solid fifth-place finish.
Sainz’s comments over the team radio — “My opinion is that we are pushing too hard, absolutely no need for the team”— quickly circulated online, sparking speculation about potential tension within the Ferrari camp. This led some fans to assume there may be discord between the two Ferrari drivers.
Charles Leclerc denies rumours!
However, Leclerc has firmly denied any such rivalry. Addressing the rumors in a recent interview, he expressed his frustration with how quickly people jumped to conclusions, emphasizing that the narrative circulating online was far from the truth.
“I’m very angry with what I’ve seen everywhere,” Leclerc remarked. He explained that after the race, he even spoke with Sainz directly and found no tension between them. According to Leclerc, the entire controversy was built on “two seconds of coverage,” which didn’t reflect the real dynamics at Ferrari.
Despite the public speculation, Leclerc’s peaceful family walk in Monaco suggests he is maintaining his focus and balance as the season progresses. With only a few races left in their partnership, both he and Sainz are likely to concentrate on Ferrari’s mission, aiming to end the season on a high note and dismissing any outside distractions.
