The Mexican Grand prix is the second consecutive race for Ferrari as their two drivers finished on the podium 1 and 3. The Italian team is continuing its successful run from the United States Grand Prix where they finished 1 and 2. Now they enter the competition for this year's Formula 1 Constructors title by pushing Red Bull from the second place. There are still four races remaining in this year's Formula 1 calendar.
After qualifying first in the Mexican GP Carlos Sainz started from the pole position for the race. But he had a bad start during the race as Max Verstappen overtook Sainz on the first lap and in the first corner. At the same time, Albon and Tsunoda crashed which brought the safety car. During the safety car period, Sainz warmed up his tyres and was ready to attack. After the safety car exit, Carlos sainz launched his attack on Max Verstappen at the main straight by opening the DRS. The reigning world champion had no pace when compared with Sainz.
Sainz's revenge on his former Boss
Verstappen lost his first place to Sainz and then it was a complete domination by the smooth operator. The Spaniard was driving smoothly around the track without any intervention and won the Mexican GP which is only the 4th win in his Formula 1 career. It would have been a Ferrari 1-2 finish again but a late launch by McLaren’s Lando Norris made it 1-3 as Charles Leclerc finished third.

After the race Ferrari team celebrated the podium finish of its two drivers with the whole team. And suddenly came a big surprise from the McLaren team. Zack Brown the McLaren boss ran into the Ferrari Paddock, photobombed the Ferrari team's winning celebration and ran away. Ferrari crew then celebrated with champagne all over the place.

The Smooth operator took sweet revenge on his former team boss as he ran into the McLaren paddock and photobombed their celebration. The McLaren team were looking to celebrate Lando Norris’s second-place finish and Carlos Sainz intervened there during the celebration and photobombed. Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz were very close friends as both of them raced together at McLaren before Sainz moved to Ferrari. After the race, Lando Norris even went to have dinner in Mexico with Carlos Sainz's family showing their friendship and mutual respect.
