The Formula 1 75 event is still days away and we have already seen McLaren and Williams testing their 2025 Formula 1 cars at Silverstone Circuit. McLaren cars were the most dominant machines last year and this year they have completely worked out from the basic layout and claim they have improved the performance.

Williams Racing, on the other hand, will have a new driver pair this year with a new title sponsor, Atlassian. F1 2024 was a disaster for them, as the latter part of the championship didn’t go their way. But a more experienced Carlos Sainz coming straight from Ferrari could help them back to winning ways and even podiums this year.

The 2024 season was the most successful year for both Lando Norris and McLaren. It was a dominant performance from both as they clinched the first-ever constructors championship since 1998. Though Lando missed his title to Max Verstappen, the later part of the year was completely dominated by him.

The MCL38 was stronger in power, aerodynamics, corners, and straight-line speed. McLaren has improved every bit of last year's machine and brought this MCL39 which looks like a title-winning car. So let us see whether Lando Norris can replicate Lewis Hamilton’s success with the McLaren F1 team.

The Williams Racing team is starting fresh and new this year with a new driver pair of Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon. The Four-time Formula 1 winner Sainz, tested the Williams F1 car at Silverstone. The FW47 with its new blue livery looked solid and confident.

The Spaniards’s 4-year Ferrari journey can also help the team to patch the holes they had left in their cars and he could be the driver they wanted all these years to revive their legacy. All the Williams team needs to do is sort out the mistakes they made from strategy to race setup.
