British iconic sports car brand Aston Martin announced its entry into the big Hypercar division this year at the WEC championship in Qatar. The British brand is already in the World Endurance Championship, but now they will compete in the ultimate division (hypercar division) against big brands like Ferrari, Toyota, and Porsche.
Aston Martin is one of the biggest luxury sports car brands in the world and they already have a hypercar named Valkyrie. It is a road-legal car with a 6.5 litre V12 engine for road and race track. The same machine will now be modified for the world’s greatest racing competition, the 24h Endurance championships.
The team had last won the 24H Le Mans in 1959. This time they will enter the WEC championship 2025 season starting in Qatar on February 28. The Valkyrie is not just a normal car, because it is completely made of Carbon fibre chassis, advanced Aero dynamics design, and a bespoke suspension system. This new Valkyrie is specially made for endurance racing competitions.

It will also be the first road-legal car to compete in the Hypercar racing division and has already done 150000 KMS testing. This is also the only car to compete in both IMSA and WEC championships. Aston’s will have two cars 007 and 009 to honour their James Bond heritage.
Aston Martin Racing is already competing in the pinnacle of motorsport Formula 1. This car will also have some of the F1 technology which will help them to achieve race mastery. But the 24H Le Mans is the greatest sports car series in the world and winning there will be the proudest moment for the team.
The Aston Martin car will debut at the 2025 WEC championships opening race in Qatar, 1812 km on February 28. The biggest race of the series, 24h of Le Mans will be held from July 11th to July 14th at the LeMans track in France. The Hypercar division is the most balanced playing field for all big car brands as the regulations allow them, to bring their new technology into racing.
