Talking with Aston Martin
The world champion has admitted that the talks with Aston Martin are real but not like everyone thinks. Max was linked with the British racing team over a potential billion-dollar deal for a 5 year's term. The Dutchman agreed that talks with Astons did happen but not for a Formula 1 seat.
He said “It is a lot of money, Honestly, when I read that, it was the first time that I saw something like that, the only contact I had with them was about GT3 for this year. There is not much to say really, but it is not me driving, but I am starting my team for this year, so of course some things need to be in place."
Beef with George Russell
The Most unexpected rivalry was between Max Verstappen and George Russell after the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix. Both exchanged words and accusations on each other making things worse. The dust still hasn't settled, but Max Verstappen and George Russell wanted to concentrate on the 2025 season. When asked about Russell’s remarks, Max said “I have no intention of continuing any type of beef in February. I'm still enjoying my time away from F1. I honestly have nothing to say on that subject."
FIA swearing row
Max Verstappen was the most affected driver by the FIA swearing issue last year. This year the governing body has planned to ban drivers and fine them with hefty money if they use bad language on team radios. The Dutchman even served community service in Africa as punishment last year.
He was asked about the new FIA laws and punishment for swearing and he saidI prefer not to speak about that, otherwise, I’ll get in trouble.” He later said "If you look at everyone’s reaction to it, I think that says enough. I think we shouldn’t take it so seriously. I’m also not going to tell you how you should behave in life."
