The 2025 MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix at the Jerez circuit is now facing trouble as severe flooding hits the area. The circuit is now completely flooded as heavy rain hit the Spanish track, followed by a hail storm. The DANA turned the Jerez circuit into a river, as the tracks and garages went underwater. Andalusia and Murcia were the places that were severely affected by the Storm. Spain and Weather Storm is a never-ending story, as the 2024 MotoGP season’s final race at Valencia was cancelled due to heavy flooding that displaced millions of people and was later changed to the  Barcelona circuit.

But now the Spanish Grand Prix race faces a threat at Jerez as on April, MotoGP returns to Spain. First, the rain has to stop, and then the water-logged circuit needs to drain out. The circuit is badly damaged as many parts are hit severely by the incoming waters. After that, damage control should be made by repairing the damaged areas of the track. The track is completely filled with Mud and rubbish that came from the city and got stagnated in the middle of the track.

Spain holds four races in this 2025 MotoGP calendar. Jerez will host the first race inside Spain, followed by Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia. The Spanish Grand Prix will happen from April 25 to 27. Having a month gap is a huge advantage for the organisers to do damage control and bring the circuit back to life. It is one of the iconic tracks in racing history.

This year will also mark the 40th anniversary of the Jerez circuit. So the committee has planned many events, like Auto exhibitions, markets, activities and Music concerts for the fans. The MotoGP leadership hasn't commented anything about the race and the Floods in Jerez as they believe everything will be sorted out before next month.
