1. Ayrton Senna (6 wins)

One of the greatest Formula 1 drivers, Ayrton Senna, is the ‘King of Monaco’ as he won the most number of times in Monte Carlo. Even when he was fighting for the championship against his teammate and biggest rival, Prost, Senna made sure he won the Monaco GP at any cost. In his outstanding Formula 1 career, he has won 6 Monaco Grand Prix (1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993), and if he had not died in 1994, the numbers could have been greater.
2. Graham Hill (5 Wins)

The world’s only triple crowner, Graham Hill, has won five times (1963, 1964, 1965, 1968, 1969) in Monaco. Graham is also one of the greatest racing drivers in history, and he is the only one who won the Indy 500, the Monaco GP and Le Mans. This triple crown record has still not been breached by any other driver in the world, and only Fernando Alonso has the possibility of winning the triple crown in the modern era.
3. Michael Schumacher (5 Wins)

German driver Michael Schumacher is the greatest driver in the modern era, and even during his final season, he was the pole sitter at the Monaco GP. But his last Monaco GP victory came when he was at his prime in 2001. Michael has won five times in the Monte Carlo circuit (1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001).

4. Alain Prost (4 Wins)

Senna’s biggest rival and one of the immovable forces in Formula 1, Alain Prost, ‘The Professor,’ has won four Monaco GPs in his F1 career. The Frenchman fought some of the greatest battles against Senna and triumphed (1984, 1985, 1986 and 1988 seasons).
5. Lewis Hamilton (3 Wins)

The seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is also one of those drivers who have won the most in the Monaco Grand Prix. Hamilton first won the race here in Monte carlo in his maiden championship-winning 2008 season. After that, he won the race in 2016 and 2019. Not only Hamilton, but his rival and teammate, Nico Rosberg, has won the Monte Carlo race in 2013, 2014 and 2015 three times in a row before retiring in 2016. The other drivers who have achieved three victories are Stirling Moss and Jackie Stewart.
