Throwback Video: Penelope’s Adorable reaction to Max Verstappen’s 2024 Japanese GP victory

Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen is one of the all-time greatest drivers in F1 history. Even with a slower machine, he is still finishing in Podiums and top 5 places. The four-time world champion is now defending his title against McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari drivers. Red Bull is currently struggling with their RB21 car, which shows no pace compared with McLaren and Mercedes. Verstappen is used to winning races, but this year, he hasn't started his winning streak yet.

The first race in Australia was won by Lando Norris and the second race in China by Oscar Piastri. We are now ready for the Japanese Grand Prix, with McLaren leading both the drivers and constructors' championships. But last year, it was different as Max Verstappen and Red Bull were the dominant team on the grid.

That was also Kelly Piquet's daughter Penelope’s first race with Max Verstappen. Penelope is the daughter of Max Verstappen’s girlfriend, Kelly, and she has been living with Max in Monaco since the 2021 F1 season. She was present during the 2024 Japanese Grand prix, Max Verstappen won the race as he was the fastest driver on the grid. Before the race, she was seen hugging Max Verstappen inside the garage, and after the race, she shouted "Maxie, Maxie..." as he went to the podium. 

Though Penelope was not the daughter of Max Verstappen, she has been living with Max since her childhood. Now, Max and Kelly are going to become parents. Vertsappen said raising Penelope was so helpful for him to experience parenthood. Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet announced the good news on their social media last December. Many say the new child will be born in April or May. During that time, Verstappen will be racing in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He is expected to take off from racing during the birth of his first child.
