The Formula 1 caravan has reached Barcelona for the 10th round of the ongoing season. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the Spanish Grand Prix 2024 and will open the doors for the second round of European races.

Three-time reigning champion Max Verstappen will be the favourite to win the race. However, with some upgrades, Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari will also be keen to make a comeback in the race to the glory. After having two almost cold races in Monaco and Montreal teams and fans will be eyeing European Summers. So, we are here with the latest weather update for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix.

What is the weather forecast for the Spanish Grand Prix?

June 21st, Friday (FP1 and FP2)

The first day of the race weekend will host two free practice sessions i.e. FP1 and FP2. According to local weather reports the weather for two sessions on Friday is expected to remain constant with Sunshine and no sight of rain. Humidity is expected to stay at 70% with a moderate breeze and the temperature will range between 17 to 24 degrees Celsius.

June 22nd, Saturday (FP3, Qualifications)

The Second day of the weekend is likely to remain similar to the first day. According to the local forecast, Saturday is expected to be slightly hotter than Friday with Temperatures ranging between 18 to 25 degrees Celsius. There is no forecast of rain and humidity will go up to 72% throughout the day.

June 23rd, Sunday (Race Day)

With the Spanish Sun seeing no end the Grand Prix Day will also see similar conditions as the previous two days. The temperature will remain between 17 to 25 degrees Celsius. However, there will be some southern wind during the race which might help teams to cool their tyres. The paramount for success will be handling cars with cooled tyres and wind conditions.
