MotoGP legend Marc Marquez wins his first race for the Ducati team in the Thailand Grand Prix Sprint Challenge. Apart from him, the debutant AI Ogura impressed everyone with his P4 finish, giving a hard time to the two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia, who finished third.
The Six-time world champion was the pole winner and started from P1. His brother and former teammate, Alex Marquez, and his 2025 MotoGP teammate Francesco Bagnaia were P2 and P3. The lights went out, and the spanish rider flew away with his factory Ducati bike.

Race Summary
Marquez was revving hard, and by the end of the first lap, he built a massive 1-second gap ahead of Alex Marquez. This is the dream start for Marc Marquez that he expected for his Ducati journey. Alex Marquez just wanted to stay behind his brother and have a clean race.
Francesco Bagnaia didn’t have a good start but was the fastest rider in the 13-lap sprint challenge. The rider who impressed us the most was the debutant and rookier Ai Ogura, who showed class in his racing. He gave Pecco a tough time as he often launched himself into the Italian to clinch the podium finish.
The Trackhouse rider looks like the next big thing in MotoGP. VR 46 rider Franco Morbidelli and Pedro Acosta finished fifth and sixth ahead of Fabio Quartararo, Brad Binder, Joan Mir and Johann Zarco, who all finished inside the points table.
The next ten riders were Raul Fernandez, Marco Bezzecchi, Fermin Aldeguer, Maverick Vinales, Luca Marini, Liguel Oliveira, Alex Rins, Enea Bastianini, Somkiat Chantra and Lorenzo Savadori. Fabio Di Giannantonio had some technical issues and pulled out of the race in the last few laps. Jack Miller had a low side as he slid through the gravel and ended his race with just 7 laps to go.
After many years, this is the first time Marc Marquez has finished first in the opening race of the season and led the points table. Ducati remains the best team on the entire grid, and we will see more of it finishing on the podium.
