Ahead of the Miami Grand Prix 2024, RB has revealed a new ‘Chameleon’ livery for their car VCARB01. This colour combination is something similar to what RB’s title sponsors have. It is to the prepaid debit card offered by Cash App, one of its two title partners.

While the team maintains its iconic blue and silver engine cover and red and white wings, the rest of the car has undergone a significant transformation. A unique livery now adorns the vehicle, stretching from the nose through the side pods to the rear wing endplates.

The outcome is a vibrant array of colours resembling a rainbow, incorporating shades of teal, pink, orange, and yellow. This revamp reflects the team's desire to distinguish itself amidst the competitive midfield. The new design, which is to be donned by Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda during the upcoming weekend, debuted at a grand unveiling in Miami's vibrant Wynwood district.

This event marks the beginning of a series of off-circuit initiatives pledged by Bayer, aimed at distinguishing the team from its prior iterations. With a strategic eye on engaging a younger demographic, the livery switch was strategically timed to coincide with the home turf of both Visa and Cash App, among the team's key partners.

'Can’t wait to see Chameleon', says RB CEO Peter Bayer

Speaking of the changes at the event RB CEO Peter Bayer said, “Visa Cash App's Chameleon Livery is the perfect colour scheme for our first race in the US.” Further speaking about the special car RB CEO Peter Bayer said he is very excited to see the new VCARB01 on track in Miami. He said, “Since the team's Las Vegas launch in February, we've taken some big steps forward, bringing fans on an exciting new journey".

“That desire to progress and connect is shared with Visa and Cash App, bringing people together in the sport through experiences unlike anything else out there. This incredible livery and the events surrounding its launch here in Miami demonstrate their commitment to the team and F1, and we can't wait to see the Chameleon VCARB01 in action this weekend”, he added.
