The two greatest talents in the current MotoGP grid Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin put on one of the greatest and breathtaking qualifying sessions this season. Pecco Bagnaia smashed the all-time lap record in Malaysia with an incredible pole lap of 1.56.337s. Beating his own lap record which he set in the 2023 season.

The reigning world champion is fighting hard for his championship against his rival Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) who is also spectacular with a 1.56.553s lap time. The Spaniard was the fastest man until the last few minutes of the qualifying session and Pecco gave his breath and sweat in smashing his own lap record at the Sepang international circuit.

The phenomenal performances of Pecco and Martin were followed by Alex Marquez of the Gresini Racing team with a lap time of 1.57.275s. He got his first podium place in this year. Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac Racing) is the fourth fastest man followed by Gresini racing team rider Marc Marquez who finished fifth fastest. The Ducati Factory rider Enea Bastianini was sixth fastest ahead of Jack Miller of the KTM Factory Racing team and Fabio Quartararo of Monster Yamaha racing at seventh and eighth positions. A.rins finished ninth fastest followed by KTM rider Brad Binder at tenth.
The final two spots are occupied by Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR) after an incredible lap time in Qualifying 1 he finished 11th fastest man on the grid ahead of Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Racing) at 12th place. The Qualifying 2 will be followed by the Tissot Sprint race later this day which will be a key factor in deciding this year's championship winner.
The Sepang International Circuit is all in to see the greatest-ever race spectacle in recent times. The title rivalry between the two GP24 Ducati riders is a spectacle to watch for the fans, especially on a big track like Malaysia. Jorge Martin leads the rider's championship points ahead of the reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia and 6-time world champion Marc Marquez. The Ducati team have already won the constructor title this year and only the rider's championship is still hanging.
