MotoGP does something amazing for the people of Valencia after Barcelona GP

The MotoGP Barcelona Grand prix tickets will be sold till November 11, and the proceeds will be given to the Valencia people as a disaster relief fund.

The Barcelona circuit in Catalunya Spain will host the final grand prix of this year's MotoGP. The Venue was chosen as the planned Valencia city was severely hit by floods and many people died and many displaced. There was so much confusion in choosing the final race host as Qatar, and Barcelona came under the radar. Finally, Barcelona was chosen as the final venue of this year’s MotoGP race. The city already hosted the Spanish Grand Prix in the middle of 2024. It is the nearest venue to Valencia city and was chosen, as many Moto2 and Moto3 teams had logistic and financial problems if moved away from Spain for the final race.

MotoGP stand by the people of Valencia

The MotoGP organizers will do something after the Barcelona race in Spain. They will donate all the proceeds from the Barcelona race to the flood-hit Valencia which will somehow help the people recover from the disaster. The race is already branded as the Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona and it starts at 55.30 Euros to 108.50 euros.

The Circuit de Barcelona- Catalunya released a statement regarding this matter. It said, "The event, whose profits will go to those affected by DANA, presents a great diversity of tickets with attractive prices to promote solidarity.” It added "The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has already put tickets on sale for the Gran Premio Solidario Motul de Barcelona, ​​which will take place from 15 to 17 November at the Catalan facilities. Tickets can be purchased on the Circuit's official website and are at very attractive prices to encourage solidarity and donations.”

During the official Spanish Grand Prix, the circuit can host up to 1,30,000 fans but due to the sudden planning, it can't host that much. So the tickets are in very limited numbers. Fans need to book their tickets as soon as possible to watch the showdown between Bagnaia and Martin.

The Barcelona GP will decide the 2024 MotoGP world champion. Jorge Martin is leading the championship and the reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia is 24 points behind the Spanish rider. The Race and Sprint race together will have 37 points and if Martin wins the Sprint race he will be crowned the MotoGP champion for the first time in his career.
