The MotoGP race in the Qatar Grand Prix was a thriller as, from nowhere, KTM rider Maverick Vinales jumped into the competition. The Spanish rider started sixth just behind the four Ducatis and Yamaha rider Quartararo. In the opening lap, Vinales made a heroic move to get past Giannantoniuo, Quartararo and Alex Marquez.

He was left behind Morbidelli, Marc Matrquez and Francesco Bagnaia. Nobody thought KTM would fight for the pole against the aggressive Ducati riders. Maverick has done something sensational in many years. Vinales even overtook Marc Marquez on the 11th lap. But a late mistake cost him his race position, and finally, he finished P2 behind Marquez and ahead of Bagnaia.

His podium was stripped from him as his bike failed to have the minimum required tyre pressure. After finishing on the podium, Vinales was present during the post-race press meet. His wife and two kids ran towards him and shared lovely moments. The championship leader, Marc Marquez, entered the press room, and he stopped for some time to see Vinales and his family enjoy the victory moments.

The MotoGP legend was very happy to see Maverick Vinales and his family. Marquez was happy to see the two kids hugging their father, so he gave them some time before starting his interview. It was lovely to see family bonding in sports as for many sports athletes family is their biggest strength. After the penalty, Maverick said they could strip the podium from him, but they can't strip the winning feel. He was pushed to P14 and lost all the points he had secured in the race.
