Monaco GP 2024: Here is full schedule for crown jewel event of F1 in Monte Carlo this week

This weekend marks the eighth race of the year with a highly anticipated F1 Monaco GP 2024 in Monte Carlo. Renowned as the crown jewel of Formula 1, Monaco's circuit is famous for its challenging layout and glamorous atmosphere. 

Last year's race saw Max Verstappen take victory, with Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon completing the podium, especially as a mid-race rain shower dramatically altered the race dynamics. This event is the second European race of the season, aligning with a familiar summer schedule. 

The weekend kicks off with practice sessions on Friday, May 24th, followed by the crucial qualifying rounds on Saturday, May 25th. The main event, a demanding 78-lap race, will be held on Sunday, May 26th, starting at 14:00 GMT.

Norris won Miami Grand Prix with a huge gap of seven seconds while he lost to Verstappen at Imola by a mere .7 seconds. Norris will be keen to overcome the challenge and make his way to another podium finish of the season.
