McLaren made history in Abu Dhabi by winning the Formula 1 constructors championship after 26 years since the 1998 season. The young drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri helped the team get their hands on the long-awaited championship. They lost their driver's championship to Red Bull's Max Verstappen but made sure they secured the constructor's title against Ferrari which they ultimately did. Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc tried very hard to topple McLaren’s run but their driver Lando Norris stayed unmoved in the pole position throughout the race and won.

Lando won the fourth race of the year after Miami, Singapore, and the Netherlands. His teammate Oscar Piastri won two races one in Hungary and Baku. The two drivers weren't born during McLaren’s last constructors title win in 1998. The British driver was born in 1999, one year after Mika Hakkinen gave McLaren both world championships. The Aussie driver was born in 2002 four years later. The two young drivers were very consistent this season, helping McLaren score points and win the championship.
Many iconic drivers drove for McLaren, like Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, and Jenson Button who are all Formula 1 world champions. They can't win the constructor's title during their stint. With this victory, McLaren will get a huge share of Formula 1 prize money.
Huge Prize money for the winners
The team that finishes in the first place will earn the most, while the team in the last place will receive the least. There is a total of 1 billion dollars as prize money.
