The disappointing Ferrari debut in Australia is now behind Lewis Hamilton. The British player is in Shanghai for the second round of the 2025 season, and the enormous crowd that gathered in the streets upon his arrival shows how warmly the fans have welcomed him. Their heroes sign a variety of items that fans bring.
Among other items of merchandise, some people in Shanghai had Lewis Hamilton's autobiography on Ferrari caps. The seven-time world champion was pleased to sign autographs as usual. Until he saw a fan holding something strange, it was a standard ritual. The forty-year-old enthusiast inquired, "What's that?" Hamilton declined to sign it after realizing it was a Ferrari stock certificate. With full knowledge that unapproved signatures on stock certificates could cause issues, he replied, "Yeah… I can't." Social media users applauded Hamilton for being "smart" enough to read the materials before signing.

In an attempt to end the whole situation as soon as possible, many celebrities decide not to look at what they are signing as a large number of followers typically congregate around them. Expectations for Hamilton and Ferrari were unavoidably quite high because the most statistically successful driver in Formula One was joining the Italian team this season. Last weekend's performance in Australia by the British player was a huge letdown. Hamilton's problems were made worse by Ferrari's lack of speed as well as frequent misunderstandings with Riccardo Adami, his new race engineer.
Lewis Hamilton has a good record in China
As the Italian was giving him pointless information, the 40-year-old became increasingly irritated and kept telling him to stop talking. With his stellar record in China, Hamilton will be looking to deliver yet another masterpiece. The six Chinese Grand Prix victories, nine podium finishes, and six pole positions are all held by the seven-time champion. If Hamilton and Ferrari can turn things around and win in China, it may spark their title campaign against McLaren, which many Formula One fans had been looking forward to all season.
