Although the 2025 season has not yet begun, seven-time Formula One World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton is already experiencing the benefits of being a Ferrari driver. The British star posted a new video to his social media accounts, posing as a Hollywod actor. Strangely, however, the picture was released when Hamilton was just a year old, as it was the 1986 comedy classic "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
In the video, Hamilton acted as Cameron's father's 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder's joyriding parking lot valet, performing stunts like drifting and jumping on the streets of Chicago with Dawn Apollo Films, Large Eyes, and Paramount Pictures. In the video, Richard Edson's character, a parking garage attendant, is replaced by Hamilton. As in the first film, he takes a $5 payment from Matthew Broderick's Ferris Bueller to maintain the Ferrari that is owned by Cameron Frye's father, played by Alan Ruck. After making some dubious attempts at accent work, Hamilton gets into the car and takes a joyride.

The short has a brief appearance by Edward Norton, star of Fight Club, who plays the second garage attendant who joins the adventure in the original movie. "Has been one of my favourite movies since I was a kid," Lewis Hamilton wrote when he shared the movie on social media. The three-minute clip concludes with an inspirational quote attributed to Lewis: "For all the kids out there who dream the impossible."
This weekend's Australian Grand Prix will be Lewis Hamilton's first time driving a Ferrari Formula 1 vehicle. During his debut season at the Scuderia, the seven-time champion, 105-time race winner, and 104-time polesitter will be looking to tie all three of those records.
