The 7 time world champion Lewis Hamilton does his magic again by leading the Las Vegas Grand Prix Practice 2 session ahead of Lando Norris and George Russell in a tight few tenths of a second lead. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton both run on a Soft compound tyre which is the fastest and they found themselves leading the grid.

George Russell was third behind his compatriots and is ahead of Charles Leclerc who regained his fourth spot which he left in the first practice session. Max verstappen the reigning world champion used a medium tyre throughout the session and finished a shocking 17th on the grid. Medium tyres are slower than Soft compounds so we expect him to bounce back in the next session.

Pierre Gasly went ahead of Kevin Magnussen and Oscar Piasstri and finished sixth. The two later drivers finished seventh and eighth on the grid at the end of the session. Nico Hulkenberg and Yuki Tsunoda were ninth and 10th after the practice 2. Valtteri Bottas gave a good comeback by finishing 11th after finishing 16th in the last practice session. Esteban Ocon also moved some places up and ended in 12th ahead of the two Aston Martins Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso who finished 13th and 14th.

Liam Lawson moved some places and finished 15th ahead of Saubers Zhou Guanyu and Red Bulls Max verstappen. Franco Colapinto of Williams finished 18th while Red Bulls Sergio Perez was 19th ahead of Alex Albon in 20th. The final practice session will be tomorrow and then it will be followed by the most important qualifying session of this weekend. After that, we head into the main race on Sunday.

Max verstappen can seal his fourth world title in Las Vegas if he wins the race or finishes three points ahead of Lando Norris. But for now, Lando Norris seems to hold off his position ahead of Max verstappen. But we don't know what the Dutchman will bring during the Qualifying and the race. He is an unpredictable driver and can do wonders if finds the momentum and pace in his car.
