In an event that delighted both fans and the drivers themselves, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton recently organized a playful meetup for their beloved pets, Leo and Roscoe. This heartwarming gathering has brought together two to-be teammates of Formula 1.

Roscoe, Hamilton’s adorable bulldog, is a well-known figure in the F1 community. Having been a constant companion to the seven-time world champion, Roscoe enjoys a celebrity status that mirrors his owner’s.

On the other hand, Leo, a charming Dachshund, is a newcomer to the F1 scene, having been adopted by Charles Leclerc and his girlfriend Alexandra Saint-Mleux earlier this year. Leo quickly captured the hearts of Leclerc’s fans when he made his debut on social media.

Here are the photos:

Leo and Roscoe’s meeting, documented in a series of photos shared on the official F1 Instagram page, showcased the two dogs enjoying each other’s company. The playful exchange between Roscoe, the seasoned F1 pet, and Leo, the enthusiastic newcomer, was a treat for fans who have been eagerly following their journeys.

Leo’s hilarious mischief at Imola

The pet playdate was more than just a casual get-together. It served as an opportunity for Hamilton and Leclerc to bond ahead of their upcoming partnership at Ferrari in the 2025 season. The two drivers, who are set to become teammates, used this occasion to strengthen their rapport, with their pets providing an adorable backdrop to their interaction.

However, Leo’s introduction to the F1 world has not been without its hiccups. During a recent race at Imola, Leo caused quite a stir by leaving a rather unexpected mess on the historic circuit. Captured on video by Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz, the incident showed Leclerc’s surprise and amusement as he dealt with his dog’s misadventure.

Despite the minor mishap, Leo has quickly become a beloved figure in the F1 paddock. His appearances, whether sporting oversized sunglasses at the British Grand Prix or supporting Leclerc at the Miami Grand Prix, have endeared him to fans and added a charming new dimension to the F1 scene.
