After clinching his first-ever Grand Prix in his 110th attempt Lando Norris shocked everyone in Miami last weekend. After the win, Norris spent some time with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce at the Miami Grand Prix. Now, in a media conversation, Norris not only pulled Kelce’s legs but also showcased their friendship off track.

In a recent podcast with BBC Radio 1, Norris poked Kelce for his investment in Alpine F1. He said, "He's invested in the wrong team, first of all. Yeah... that's gone well! Each to their own. A lot of people know about Travis now, especially after the Super Bowl and everything."

Notably, The British driver secured victory with a lead of over seven seconds ahead of Max Verstappen, showcasing McLaren's significant upgrade success. Norris received widespread congratulations from fans worldwide, including numerous well-known celebrities.

Lando Norris praises Taylor Swift

Further speaking about their meeting Norris shared his delight in hanging out with Kelce. He jokingly mentioned his newfound acquaintance with Kelce, expressing a wish for Taylor Swift’s concert tickets through this newfound connection.

He said, "I met him, I was out at dinner, I had to get some food in me after the race and he was there. One of my friends introduced me to him and he was an awesome guyhe was a legend, and he was very sweet we exchanged numbers and hopefully I can get to a game one day. Or a Taylor Swift concert!"

Meanwhile, Norris' victory in Miami elevated him in the drivers' standings, tying him with Carlos Sainz for fourth place. To nurture title aspirations in 2024, he must outperform Verstappen multiple times, given the substantial 53-point gap that remains between them.

He will be aiming for another win of the season at Imola this week. However, he will have a great challenge from the upgraded Mercedes and Ferrari. Red Bull is also improving their RB20 making things interesting for Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
