Lando Norris shows his frustration after missing out on British GP victory

Lando Norris was unhappy after the team's performance during the British Grand Prix race. McLaren drivers are not satisfied with the decisions taken during the race.

The British Grand Prix took place yesterday and was another great race to witness once again which gave us some surprising results. The winner of the race was Mercedes Lewis Hamilton who went on to win his first race this season and that to on his home turf. This was a great moment for the 7-time World champion who finally won a big race in what was turning out to be one of his worst seasons so far.

The other two podium finishers in the race were Red Bull's Max Verstappen and McLaren's Lando Norris, who were one of the inform drivers for their respective teams. There is no doubt that this was a great moment for Hamilton, but for Norris to finish third after taking an important lead early into the race. Everyone at that moment thought that this was a race which belonged to the young and upcoming English driver who has been giving great performances this season.

Norris displays his frustration after the loss

There is no doubt it would be disappointing for Norris who had missed out on a race where he was looking like the favourite to win from the start. Unfortunately in the 30th lap, the McLaren driver started falling behind and went on to settle for 3p in the race. He also went onto display his frustration after the race saying " We threw it away in the final stop, So, one lap, but also I don’t think it was a lap. I think even if I boxed on the perfect lap, our decision to go on to the softs was the wrong one."

This statement by Norris proves that he was not happy with the decisions taken by the team during the race and felt like he missed out on another 25 points. This has been a great season for Norris where he has shown that he can compete with the best in the business. He will want to make a comeback in the next race and get some important points in the season.
