Lando Norris gets pole in one lap shoot-out as title rival Max Verstappen locks front row in Singapore GP- Results

Lando Norris took pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix with a time of 1:29.525, achieved on his sole Q3 hot lap. He will start alongside title rival Max Verstappen on the front row. Everyone had just one shot at the pole position as Carlos Sainz pulled the red flag leaving time for just one lap. 

Meanwhile, Mercedes duo Lewis Hamilton and George Russell secured third and fourth, while Norris’ teammate, Oscar Piastri, starts fifth. Another Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc had his lap deleted and will begin in ninth just ahead of Sainz.

A shocking exit for Daniel Ricciardo!

The first qualifying session (Q1) of the Singapore GP saw a few surprises as Daniel Ricciardo, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas, and Zhou Guanyu were eliminated. Sergio Perez fails to make it into Q3!

In an intense Q2 session, Alex Albon, Franco Colapinto, Sergio Perez, Kevin Magnussen, and Esteban Ocon were eliminated. Notably, Perez's exit in P13 could have significant implications for the Constructors' Championship.

Meanwhile, Yuki Tsunoda and Fernando Alonso narrowly made it through in P9 and P10, respectively.
