Mercedes F1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli has one final test, which he feels is very important. Everybody knows Antonelli is the youngest driver on the grid, as he just turned 18 years old. Only recently did he get his regular driver's license before his F1 debut. The young Italian driver felt the driving test was too difficult compared with racing. Max Verstappen was also 18 years old when he entered Formula 1 without a driving license.
But after that, the FIA made it mandatory for drivers to have a regular license to drive in Formula 1. Kimi, after getting his regular license, was very happy turning 18 and said he couldn't wait for the 2025 season to start. Mercedes was very happy with his performance in the first two races of the season. He scored points in both races. Antonelli is now fifth in the F1 2025 drivers' standings ahead of the two Ferrari drivers.

Recently, he was called for a podcast with the Fast and Curious page. There, he was asked about going to school after entering Formula 1. Antonelli said, “Yeah, I have the last year of the school. I have final exams. So I'm trying at the moment to fit a date where I can do it, which is pretty difficult at the moment.”
He added, “Yeah, it would be a shame just to, you know, quit on the last year of school. And also, my mom cares about it, so I will do it for her as well.” The interviewer sympathised with him, calling it difficult to manage both racing and exams, especially math. Antonelli acknowledged that and said, “It’s a terrible thing; I’m not going to lie; it’s something I have to do but it’s a difficult subject.”
Antonelli also said he never sought any help from Toto Wolff or George Russell in finishing his homework. He was also suggested to ask for help from Russell, and for that, Kimi said, “Wee, for the Japanese Grand Prix, if I find him on the plane, I’m going to go over to him and ask him to help me with math and see how we get on.”
