Red Bull chief engineer Adrian Newey shares his experience of driving the legendary racer Niki Lauda's old car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The season for Formula One is still on and it has been a great time for auto-racing fans. After all, this is the season where we finally get to relive some iconic races from some of our favorite drivers. However, it is not only the races that we look forward to but also the major festivals where some iconic moments take place among all the known faces in the racing industry.

The festival everyone was looking forward to is the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is where we saw some legendary figures in the World of racing and also the Red Bull team debut their hypercar on the day. This was the race where we saw many iconic faces. This festival featured the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, also present at the venue.

The other person present there was Red Bull's legendary Chief engineer Adrian Newey, who has been a part of many championship seasons for Red Bull. Undoubtedly, he has been a part of many iconic moments and deserves a lot of credit for his work in Formula One. Newey also had the honour of driving the car of one Niki Lauda, who was one of the biggest legends of racing. Newey seemed very glad to be the one to drive one of the vehicles which made Lauda a World Champion and he was happy to share his experience of being a big fan of the 3-time World Champion who passed away just 5 years ago at the age of 70.

Looking at the expression of Newey after driving it was evident that the engineer was overwhelmed after experiencing driving the vehicle. It was a life-changing moment for him and we could see the excitement and emotion in him. It was great to see him remembering the legend after 5 years and his interview might have got all the fans to remember the great triumphs of Niki Lauda.
