Harry Potter star Tom Felton gets his hand on Formula E car

One of the celebrities selected by the Formula E series to drive the GEN3 Evo race car is, Tom Felton, who is famous for being part of the Harry Potter cast. Fans can see Tom Felton, also known as Draco Malfoy, in a Formula E car during the Formula EVO Sessions. In this thrilling maneuver, Tom Felton will be exchanging his wand for a wheel! As a guest of McLaren's Formula E team, Felton participated in the London E-Prix last year.

This is the first time Felton will be driving an electric race car. According to Felton, "I’ve grown up loving wheels my entire life. From my dad teaching me to ride a bicycle to putting my first poster up on my bedroom wall of a supercar. Nothing could compare to the excitement I have to actually be seated in the driver’s seat of arguably the most exciting vehicle on four wheels on the planet. I know it needs a fifth wheel to steer and I am beyond thrilled to be given the opportunity to do so,” he said. 

Other celebrities will join Miami International Autodrome

The four will join last week's announcements of Brooklyn Beckham, TikToker Vinnie Hacker, YouTubers Cleo Abram and Emilia Hartford, actor Lucien Laviscount, and Premier League icon Sergio Aguero. The lineup will depart for Miami for the event, which will take place at the Miami International Autodrome, the site of Miami's Formula 1 race, on March 5–6. One more star will be revealed soon.

On March 5 to 6, 2025, Felton and other celebrities will race together at the Miami International Autodrome. Evo Sessions will be held between the Jeddah and Miami E-Prix, with participants being paired with a Formula E team and going through a six-week training regimen prior to a two-day track event at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
