F1 driver Esteban Ocon stars in a Netflix comedy film

In the off-season, Esteban Ocon took over the movie studio from the Formula One paddock. Future French Netflix release Honeymoon Crasher will include the Haas racer. Starring Julien Frison and Michele Laroque, the French-language comedy production is called Lune de miel avec ma mere (Honeymoon Crasher is the British release title). 

There was an unexpected cameo in the trailer, which was revealed before to the movie's February 12 release date. In a trailer for the project that was made public by Netflix, a young woman apologizes to her partner before sprinting and jumping into the arms of a smirking Esteban Ocon. After that, the two swiftly leave in their car among the sounds of burning tires.

Ocon's position in the Honeymoon Crasher film is unknown, but in 2025, he will have a far larger duty with his new team, Haas. Nico Hulkenberg's incredible 2024 campaign has left the former Grand Prix winner with large shoes to fill. Ocon and fellow recruit Oliver Bearman's relationship is one of the main discussion points leading up to his first season as a Haas driver. 

Formula One drivers have worked in film industry

As a strong team player, the Frenchman's image has been harmed by his past conflicts with teammates Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso, and Pierre Gasly. In addition to being one of two French drivers on the grid with former teammate Pierre Gasly, Ocon is not the only Formula One driver working in the film industry. While other drivers, including Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and Sebastian Vettel, voiced characters in the Disney series Cars, Lewis Hamilton's highly anticipated project with Brad Pitt is scheduled for release in June.

Ocon will be accompanied by a strong teammate in Bearman. The British driver, who is only 19 years old, is predicted to succeed fellow countryman Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari when the seven-time world champion retires from his illustrious Formula One career. He collected points in his debut with Ferrari and again with Haas in Baku.
