Oscar Piastri, in a recent interview, took a sarcastic dig at Red Bull by saying that he is more happy to drive a McLaren rather than a Red Bull. The 2025 Bahrain Grand prix is underway, and one of the biggest teams in F1, McLaren, is predicted to win the race as they are the fastest team on the grid.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are young, consistent and quick, which is favouring the McLaren big time this year. McLaren is now leading the constructors championship while its driver, Lando Norris, is leading the drivers. Oscar Piastri, the australian driver, is not far away from his teammate as he is currently positioned third in the driver's championship. He has the potential to win the Formula 1 world championship for his team and Australia.

Many drivers from Australia have tried to win the F1 title in the past, like Daniel Ricciardo and Mark Webber. But none of them succeeded; only Piastri has a good chance of making that dream happen as he is in the strongest team. This year, he is going head to head against his teammate, Lando and rival Max Verstappen. Red Bull is struggling with their car's balance, and only the Dutch driver can go fast with that car. Oscar Piastri was asked the question of what he would do if he gets to drive the RB21 car.

Oscar Piastri's comment on Red Bull

Oscar Piastr said, “I don’t know. I don't plan on finding out. I think, you know, clearly the car looks pretty difficult. I think we’ve seen that with Liam. We saw with Checo last year. Even with Yuki in Japan. So, I think going into an environment where you know has been so focused on the way Max drives for nearly ten years now.” The Australian added, “I think it would be a very tough environment to go into and have immediate success. But yeah, I’m quite happy that I’m driving a McLaren at the moment.”
