FP2 session summary

This Formula 1 FP2 session was completely dominated by McLaren team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. As expected, the McLaren cars were the fastest on the grid, and the two drivers utilised the race machines and extracted maximum power. Red Bull had an unusually nice setup that allowed them to go through the narrow streets of the Jeddah street track.

Though Yuki Tsunoda crashed at the end, it will be a great session for Red Bull to cheer, and they will be looking to improve in the next session. The Mercedes and Ferrari drivers were quiet and mostly experimented with their setups, while Williams driver Carlos Sainz finished inside the top 10. The FP3 session will be exciting as it will be the final chance for teams to test out their race setups.
