FP1 session summary

The world’s fastest street track started with the McLaren leading the table against Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. But Alpine’s Pierre Gasly came out of nowhere and topped the session for Alpine. The French driver showed extraordinary skills in the narrow and dangerous street track and impressed everyone.

The biggest shocker was Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda finishing at the bottom of the table at P9 and P10. The difference between the two drivers is very little, and Red Bull needs to improve. The seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton just finished ahead of the two Red Bulls.

Williams Racing driver Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon were also impressive with P7 and P5 and were split by Mercedes driver George Russell. Oscar Piastri was P4, and we are hoping to see some improvement in the next session from all the drivers.
