2025 F1 Japanese Grand Prix Race Results
The opening lap was outstanding for Max Verstappen; he launched perfectly to the left side, covering Lando Norris on the inside. Oscar Piastri also had a good launch but stayed P3 behind his teammate. The race was very unusual for a Japanese GP, as most drivers focused on driving without errors.
The single-stop pit stop strategy worked for almost every team, and the track temperature was low today, which helped the drivers with tyre wear. In the final stages of the race, there was some action and hope for Lando Norris to overtake Max Verstappen. But the Red Bull driver was too good to hold off his rival behind him and won in Suzuka for the fourth time in a row.
