Celebrity places a massive 20 million euros bet on Lando Norris to win the 2025 F1 title

World-famous canadian rapper Drake has now placed a huge bet on Lando Norris to win this year's Formula 1 title. The 2025 Formula 1 season starts on March 14 in Melbourne, Australia. Many predict McLaren will be the fastest team on the grid. Lando Norris is driving for the team and will be this year's new world champion. So, Drake has placed his bet on Lando Norris for this year's world championship, and the betting amount is humongous.

Drake's Huge bet on Lando Norris

The Rapper is betting 20 million euros on Lando to win this year against Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. This is a risky bet for Drake, but he believes in Lando Norris and keeps faith in the british driver. In the 2024 season, McLaren came very close to winning the driver's title with Norris. But Max Verstappen was too good to beat and made the difference between winning and losing. 

The 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix proved Max is not an ordinary racing driver. But Lando Norris should be credited for his resilience against Verstappen even after having battle scars against the Dutch driver in races like Austria, Mexico and the United States. Norris never crossed the line or was aggressive against Max. He was always a clean driver who knew his limits, and without damaging anyone, he used his McLaren car to its full potential and won 4 F1 races. Lando won races in Miami, Singapore, the Netherlands and Abu Dhabi. 

He played a big role in McLaren winning their first constructors championship after 26 years. This year will be the last season of the 2014 Turbo Hybrid regulations, and from 2026, there will be new cars and engines. So, everyone is betting on the best team, and that is McLaren. Even during the Bahrain Pre-Season testing, McLaren cars' performance is top tier, and their bosses Zak Brown and Andrea Stella say they tweaked the engine performance and kept the car very similar to last year.
