Star Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz is looking for a seat in Formula 1 as he has been replaced by Lewis Hamilton in the squad. However, Nico Rosberg has warned him from joining Audi despite admitting it is a great fit for both the driver and the team.

It’s worth noting that Sainz is thinking about joining different teams because his time with Ferrari in F1 2024 is ending soon. Many teams are interested in him, especially Sauber aka Audi, who wants him to drive for them when they start racing in Formula 1 in 2026.

Rosberg, who won the championship in 2016, thinks Sainz is good enough to drive for any team in Formula 1. Sainz himself wants to drive cars that can win races. While joining Audi might be a good idea eventually, Rosberg says Sainz has a hard decision to make about what to do next.

He said, “If you look at the driver market, Carlos fits in best everywhere. He would be the best for Mercedes and the best for Red Bull. Red Bull didn’t offer him enough money and wants to work for Mercedes. You can’t offer him more than a year because you’re hoping for Kimi Antonelli, who is an exceptional talent, after a year at the latest.”

Ralf Schumacher ehoes the threats!

Further speaking about the prospects of Carlos Sainz Rosberg said, “Audi would be a great fit, but Audi for Sainz, he wants to win races now and he’s starting all over again. It’s a difficult decision.”

Meanwhile, Ex-Formula 1 racer Ralf Schumacher thinks Sainz has choices, especially regarding Red Bull. Schumacher, who won six Grand Prix races, says there's one big problem that might stop Sainz from joining Red Bull.

He said, “The question is whether Carlos Sainz wants to sit next to Max Verstappen. There is also the financial factor. Due to Max’s relatively high salary, the budget is a little stretched and that means there are a few obstacles in the way.”
