Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko opnes up about Audi's offer to Carlos Sainz!

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz is continuously looking for a new Formula 1 contract after being replaced by Lewis Hamilton in the squad. Despite having a great form on his side Sainz is unable to decide his future. According to various reports, he is confused between a lucrative offer from Audi and a decent offer from Mercedes.

Speaking about him Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko revealed more details. Speaking with media he opened up about the details of the offer given to Sainz by Audi. Notably, Audi is set to make their F1 comeback from 2026 after rebranding Sauber and they are looking for a new team of drivers to join them. After signing Nico Hulkenberg, the team will be keen to get Carlos Sainz.

“Sainz is in great form at the moment,” Marko told media. “I think he has a very good offer from Audi for three years, but he has to make a decision relatively soon. We, on the other hand, won’t be making a decision soon, we don’t let such things put us under pressure. But of course, we are sorting”, he further added.

Can Carlos Sainz make a comeback in Red Bull?

On the other hand, Red Bull is also figuring out who will drive for them in 2025 because Sergio Perez's contract ends this year. It might be Perez only or Sainz too as both have been phenomenal. Speaking about it Marko had said that they're talking to Sainz, but they can't offer him as much as Audi did. Sainz started in F1 with Red Bull's support, racing for their junior team, Toro Rosso.

Highlighting that Marko said, “Well, he was still very young back then. But in the meantime, he has developed well and is showing incredible form.” Despite all this driver's market drama, Carlos Sainz is looking at the upcoming tasks. He will be keen to make another podium finish for Ferrari in the ongoing season.
