Race summary
Bagnaia had a great start as he charged past Alex and Fabio to clinch the top spot, followed by his teammateMarc Marquez and Aprilia Racing rider Marco Bezzecchi. Pecco wanted it desperately as he lost many races this year due to a poor start.
As the pressure was mounting on Pecco, it was not too long before Marc took the lead of the race on the fifth lap. His brother Alex had an unusual crash, losing his rear while rubbing shoulders with Pedro Acosta. The Italian team went for an unfortunate double DNF as Aldeguer crashed with Honda rider Joan Mir, and both were out. Alex had a bad fall and was taken to the medical centre.
At the same time, Bezzecchi charged on Bagnaia, who was not confident with his GP25 bike, unlike Marc, who is extracting maximum power from the machine. KTM rider Pedro Acosta also took advantage and went past Bagnaia and clinched the podium spot. But a late attack from Bagnaia helped him gain the lost podium position from Acosta.
Finally, Marc Marquez clinched theDutch Grand Prixin the Netherlands followed by Marco Bezzecchi in second and Francesco Bagnaia in third. Marc also extended his lead over his brother Alex, and he is more likely to win the championship this season.
