Marc Marquez has clinched his seventh Aragon pole position with a new all-time lap record during the 2025 MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix. His brother and championship rival, Alex Marquez, finished in second, followed by VR46 rider Franco Morbidelli in P3. British GP winner Marco Bezzecchi shocked everyone with an early exit in Q1. Bagnaia’s poor run continues as he was once again beaten by his teammate Marc and rival Alex. Check the full results of the session.
The session started with Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo topping the table in Q1. Marco Bezzecchi crashed during the first session. He came out on his second bike, and it didnt make any difference for him, and the Italian was out of the Qualifying. In the second session, the two KTM’s Brand Binder and Pedro Acosta surprised everyone with a P3 and P4 finish behind Marc and Alex. Francesco Bagnaia gave a shock as he finished in P11 during his first stint. But the Italian fought back with a P4 finish in his final run.
Franco Morbidelli also beat Marc to finish in P1, but was pushed to P3 by the Marquez brothers. Marc Marquez registered his pole position with a new all-time lap record by 0.260s. The other riders to finish inside the top 12 are Fermin Aldeguer (P7), Maverick Vinales (P8), Fabio Quartararo (P9), Fabio Di Giannantonio (P10), Joan Mir (P11), Johann Zarco (P12).
