Even at the age of 35, the RCB stalwart and former skipper, Virat Kohli once again displayed his amazing fielding abilities and freaking fitness with an amazing and ‘stunning’ direct throw in the ongoing game against PBKS to dismiss the star in-form batter, Shashank Singh. This ‘direct hit’ from Virat Kohli also made it sure about the shifting of momentum in RCB’s favour.

The moment came in the 14th over of the second innings during the run-chase of Punjab Kings. Sam Curran tucked it in the leg side towards Kohli and ran for a double; the duo completed the first run successfully but while completing the second, Shashank Singh fell almost a few inches short of the crease at the non-striker’s end. Virat Kohli made no mistake in brilliantly executing his diving throw to dismiss Shashank Singh and send him back to the dugout with the individual score of 37 runs off just 19 balls, with 4 fours and 2 sixes.

The video of Virat Kohli's stunning 'direct hit' run-out is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a user over X (formerly Twitter).
