On Wednesday night New York Knicks defeated Indiana Pacers by 130-121. This win hepls helping the New York Knicks take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semi finals. Jalen Brunson scored 29 points in the second half, despite suffering a right foot injury. 

However, Jalen Brunson lost the chance to record the second-highest scoring total in NBA history in five straight postseason games (40 points or more). After OG Anunoby scored a career-high 28 points in the third quarter before leaving the game due to a left hamstring injury, the Knicks, who have already lost three key players to season-ending injuries, suffered two more setbacks.

However, Brunson returned, and his two teammates once again had outstanding performances. The No. 2 seeded Knicks were led by Donte DiVincenzo, who scored 28 points, and Josh Hart, who finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists.

For Indiana Pacers, who ended the game without coach Rick Carlisle after he received two technical fouls and was dismissed, Tyrese Haliburton recovered from a disappointing performance in Game 1 with 34 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. While for Indiana Pacers Obi Toppin contributed 20 points in another good performance by Indiana's reserves, but the Pacers were hindered by shooting only 10 for 17 (59%) from the free throw line. 

New York Knicks faces injury problems 

In Brunson's absence, the Pacers made 15 of 22 baskets in the second quarter and outscored the Knicks 37-27 to lead 73-63. Diana led 79-70 when New York Knicks responded on a 14-0 run, with Brunson scoring a three-point play as New York led 84-79.

While there are many worries about the Knicks' health, both with Brunson and Anunoby, the team is in a great position to make the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 2000. As part of the series, Game 3 will be held in Indiana on Friday and Game 4 on Sunday.
